I&#039;m guessing you had a pretty good break. When I broke my big toe, it was quite awhile before it felt &quot;normal.&quot; Once it felt good enough to stop taping it, it would ache a bit. I avoided playing soccer for months. I was really afraid someone would step on it and re-break it. I did get some sharp pains every once in awhile. The good news is, it did get better and better. I may not have complete flexion in it, but I have zero pain and zero problems with it. When would I need to fully curl my big toe anyway. It did take quite a few months for all the lingering aches and occasional pains to subside. Stay hopeful. Our bodies are amazing and have a wonderful ability to heal, mend, and make things work. Hang in there and may you be back to normal soon.

		<description>I broke my big toe about 12 weeks ago now, and have scoured the Internet searching for ways to continue working out and came across your blog. I&#039;m just curious, but for me, it&#039;s been 3 months and while my toe is A LOT better, there is still a hairline crack in the distal bone of the big toe. I was wondering how your toe felt when you started feeling better enough  not to tape it and let it be free. My toe feels good, but every so often there is a tingle and some deep pain signaling that it&#039;s not 100% yet. If anyone has any experience with this - the tingles - please write! I&#039;m worried my toe is never going to heal :(
