Fantastic breakfast recipes to start your day right -
While my typical day starts off with some of my homemade granola, vanilla coconut milk yogurt and bananas, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries, I do also love other breakfast foods. In this section, you’ll find my world famous (ok, maybe not world famous, but they should be because I have found while traveling that no-one knows how to make these) banana-nut and wheat-germ pancakes, vegan pumpkin waffles and even my mouth-watering soyrizo and potatoes! There really is something for everyone here. . . well, maybe. . . as long as you like healthy vegan breakfast recipes.
Fantastic dessert recipes to start your day right – I’m not entirely sure you’ll want to start your day with these, but it’s certainly a great idea to end your day with a nice healthy (ha!) vegan dessert. Yep, these are all vegan dessert recipes because I’m a vegan. Not only that, but I have found the raw vegan desserts to be far superior to any non-vegan dessert I’ve encountered. I dare you to try the vegan hazelnut pie and tell me that you’ve had a better pie!
I just love homemade bread. I know and approve of every ingredient used and I get to smell the bread as it bakes. It is torture at times, but I’m telling you, once you bake a few loaves of bread in your oven or bread machine, you will be hooked as well. As for the “and such” part of “Breads and such”, well you’ll just have to take a peek here and see what’s in store for you.
Wow, once you try the vegan cream cheese recipe here, you will not go back to store bought, pre-made cream cheese. And if you do, well, then that’s fine. My good friends over at Ultimate Bagel in Santa Barbara loved this recipe so much, they added it to their menu for us vegans that love a good bagel and cream cheese. You might want to purchase a Vitamix Blender for some of these recipes to make them even easier to whip up.
This is my second favorite group of recipes, desserts, of course, being my favorite. But before you can indulge in the desserts, you might want to peek around this bit of easy and healthy vegan recipes. I’ve tried several veggie burger recipes and the ones I’m including here are my favorites. But it doesn’t stop (or start for that matter) there, take a look and enjoy!
I’m throwing this section in the end here for all you meat-eaters out there. I probably won’t be adding many recipes here because I don’t want to encourage animal eating, but I do have a few recipes that I prepared during my pre-vegan days that you might enjoy. Hopefully, though, you will browse some of my books in the Frealfitness Store and learn about how those animals you’re eating are being treated.
